Terms ofservice.

These Terms govern the use of Flamingo's booking and business-management platform.

Last updated: August 2026

1. Flamingo

Flamingo provides software tools for appointment-based businesses, including booking management, customer management, staff scheduling, products, memberships, reporting and related business features.

2. Business accounts

Each business is responsible for maintaining accurate account information and ensuring that authorised users have appropriate access.

The business is responsible for activity carried out through its account.

3. Subscriptions

Flamingo subscriptions may be offered on monthly or annual billing cycles.

Available features, branch limits, staff limits and other plan allowances are shown on the pricing page or agreed separately with the business.

4. Setup and onboarding

A one-time setup or onboarding fee may apply.

The amount depends on the business's requirements and will be agreed before paid onboarding work begins.

5. Billing

Subscription fees are charged according to the selected plan and billing cycle.

Businesses are responsible for keeping billing information current and paying applicable charges when due.

6. Plan changes

Businesses may request to upgrade or downgrade their subscription.

Changes may affect available features, usage limits and future billing.

7. Cancellation

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, businesses may cancel their subscription in accordance with their agreed billing arrangement. There is no lock-in contract.

Amounts already paid for a billing period are not automatically refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed otherwise.

8. Customer payments

Where online customer payments are enabled, payments are processed using the business's configured payment provider.

Flamingo does not charge a commission on bookings unless a different commercial agreement is explicitly entered into.

Payment-provider charges may still apply separately.

Customer payment funds are intended to settle according to the arrangement between the business and its selected payment provider.

9. Business responsibilities

Businesses are responsible for:

  • the services they offer
  • pricing they publish
  • appointment fulfilment
  • customer communications
  • refunds owed to their customers
  • applicable licences and regulatory obligations
  • the legality and accuracy of information entered into Flamingo

10. Customer data

Businesses remain responsible for their customer relationships and for ensuring they have an appropriate basis for collecting and using customer information.

Flamingo processes information as necessary to provide the platform.

11. Acceptable use

Flamingo must not be used:

  • unlawfully
  • to harm or mislead others
  • to distribute malicious software
  • to attempt unauthorised access
  • to interfere with platform security
  • to abuse messaging or communication functionality

12. Availability

Flamingo aims to provide a reliable service but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

Maintenance, infrastructure issues, third-party services or circumstances beyond reasonable control may occasionally affect access.

13. Third-party services

Some Flamingo functions rely on external providers such as hosting, messaging, authentication or payment services.

Those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

14. Intellectual property

The Flamingo software, interface, branding and related materials remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Businesses retain ownership of their own branding, content and business information.

15. Suspension or termination

Access may be suspended or terminated where necessary because of:

  • serious misuse
  • security concerns
  • non-payment
  • legal requirements
  • material breach of these Terms

Reasonable efforts should be made to resolve ordinary issues before termination where practical.

16. Limitation

Flamingo is a business software platform and does not itself provide the salon, spa, fitness, clinic, wellness or other services booked through businesses using Flamingo.

Each business remains responsible for its own services and customer commitments.

17. Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time as Flamingo develops or legal and operational requirements change.

Material updates will be published on this page.
