  • appointment and booking information
  • staff and schedule information
  • service and purchase information
  • communications sent through the platform
  • technical information necessary to operate and secure the service

2. Business customer data

Businesses using Flamingo remain responsible for their customer relationships and the information they collect through their business.

Flamingo processes this information to provide the services requested by the business, such as booking management, customer management, staff scheduling, memberships, reporting and related platform functionality.

Flamingo does not sell a business's customer information for advertising.

3. How information is used

Information may be used to:

  • provide and operate Flamingo
  • process and manage bookings
  • maintain customer and staff records
  • provide reports and business functionality
  • provide customer support
  • maintain security and prevent misuse
  • improve the reliability and performance of the platform
  • comply with applicable legal obligations

4. Service providers

Flamingo may use trusted infrastructure and service providers to operate parts of the platform, such as hosting, authentication, email delivery, messaging, analytics and payment-related services.

These providers receive information only as necessary to perform their relevant service.

5. Payments

Where online payments are enabled, payment processing may be provided by third-party payment providers.

Flamingo does not need to store full payment card information where the payment provider handles those details directly.

6. Data security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, but Flamingo is designed with access controls and tenant separation appropriate for a multi-business platform.

7. Data retention

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, satisfy contractual obligations and meet applicable legal or operational requirements.

8. Customer requests

Customers wishing to access, correct or delete information held by a business should normally contact that business directly.

Businesses can contact Flamingo where assistance is needed to fulfil an appropriate data request.

9. International services

Some technology providers used to operate Flamingo may process information using infrastructure outside Qatar. Appropriate care is taken when selecting service providers and handling business information.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Flamingo develops, legal requirements change or additional services are introduced.
